What is Asean Explorer Pass?
- This is an annual-based pass with a 1 year validity and travel period to redeem Zero Base Fare Flights to Asean with Int'l and Domestic routes.
- Travel period: 21 May 2024 onwards. Flight Redemption: 7 May 2024 onwards.
- Other travel perks like 50% off hotel deals, discounts for AirAsia Ride and a free airport transfer.
Can I redeem domestic flights?
- Yes, you can redeem domestic routes in countries other than your own to discover the hidden gems of Asean.
- Domestic routes available for redemption in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines.
- A scanned travel document is required for you to start redeeming domestic flights in other countries, to be done by setting up your FACES profile on the AirAsia MOVE app. Read full FAQ for more details.
I bought the pass in March 2024, do I enjoy Asean Explorer Pass benefits?
All 'Unlimited Asean Pass' purchased in March 2024 will enjoy:
- Extension of validity period to 6 May 2025 and travel period to 20 May 2025.
- Increase of active bookings to 3 at any given time.
- Option to enable domestic flight redemption with zero base fares by paying SST difference (Sales & Service Tax), which was not charged to the Unlimited Asean Pass.
